Patidar and Kohli's half-centuries were futile as the GT'S middle order looked tremendous. RCB had won the toss and decided to bat first. Kohli played some elegant shots towards the long-off and deep square and looked promising to score a heap of runs today but the RCB skipper Du Plessis could not unleash his carnage of runs as he was dismissed by an outswinger ball bowled by the returning Sangwan. Kohli did not shy away from playing his signature shot 'Cover Drive' the flick shot and his counterpart also did not leave the chance to punish the RCB bowlers as he acted as an aggressor and Kohli as the anchor. Patidar was an angel in disguise as he had kept RCB'S run rate elevated and both of them completed their half-centuries and had a p...

RR VS RCB: Match Report

Image
RR'S chariot of wins continued as they defeated RCB by 29 runs. The match was overshadowed by a verbal spat between Harshal Patel and Riyan Parag, Kuldeep Sen's Four-for and Ashwin giving a breakthrough to RR in the crucial overs. RCB had won the toss and chose to field first. Padikkal faced his former teammate Siraj and played a classy off drive but was soon dismissed by a yorker. We again got a surprise package as Ashwin was sent again on number 3 and played a short but striking inning of 17 runs in 9 balls and was dismissed by a short ball bowled by Siraj which he misjudged. Buttler could not show his destructive batting as he was dismissed by Hazelwood. Samson punished Hasranga in his First over by playing a Six over the deep extra cover, Long off and a four in the point region. Though RR was completely under pressure as they lost wickets in succession and could not score big runs in the Powerplay. Daryl Mitchell played an underwhelming inning of 16 runs in 25 balls which...

Chennai had won the toss and decided to bowl first in the match. Mayank welcomed the Sri Lankan spinner Theekshana by hitting a boundary towards the third man. The pitch was bouncier as compared before. There were some glimpses of misfielding from the Chennai side as Santner and Gaikwad dropped Rajapaksa and he capitalized on it. Mayank had a soft dismissal as he was caught in the point. Punjab did a tremendous job by bringing back Rajapaksa who proved beneficial for them as he punished the CSK bowlers playing primarily in the Long Off, Third man and Point region but was dismissed by the 'king of variations' DJ Bravo on a Good length ball. SRH VS PBKS

Srh Can Finally Take a deep breath as they've found their core players and the right team combination to speed up their chariot of wins. Umran has certainly improved his line length along with his menacing raw pace. Pooran has been consistent with his runs. Tripathi's big-hitting along with his perfect timing is a knock on the selector's door for the T20 World Cup. Punjab's Livingstone too has brought his Big Hitting to the Indian Premier League as he primarily attacked Suchith and used his quick wit against Umran's Quick Pace by hitting boundaries towards the third man and long on. Dhawan attacked his Indian Counterpart Bhuvneshwar Kumar towards the Mid on but was defeated by his swing by playing towards the mid on hoping to hit a boundary. Pooran used his quick decision skills and shut the mouths of commentators by taking a review for caught behind and dismissing talented but inconsistent Prabhsimran Singh. Livingstone once again used his quick wit by playing aga...

MI VS LSG: Report Card

The Mi captain consistently won the toss and chose to bowl first. The MI skipper made a startling decision by giving the first over to Tilak Varma. Tilak did not fail to impress the skipper and the fans by conceding only 7 runs in the first over. But it was only Tilak's over which was fruitful for Mumbai Indians as the pacers were thrashed by the former Mi's wicketkeeper/opener Quinton De Kock and KL Rahul as both of them played a variety of shots towards the cover, point, square leg and mid-wicket. The openers were jubilant with their thrashing done on the pacers until De Kock was trapped by the facile spin of Fabian Allen. If De Kock had been Not Out we could have seen 2 Centuries in a single inning after 3 Years.  Despite De Kock's wicket LSG...
