Tewatia and Miller came to GT'S rescue again as GT beat RCB by 6 wickets. Patidar and Kohli's half-centuries were futile as the GT'S middle order looked tremendous.

RCB had won the toss and decided to bat first. Kohli played some elegant shots towards the long-off and deep square and looked promising to score a heap of runs today but the RCB skipper Du Plessis could not unleash his carnage of runs as he was dismissed by an outswinger ball bowled by the returning Sangwan. Kohli did not shy away from playing his signature shot 'Cover Drive' the flick shot and his counterpart also did not leave the chance to punish the RCB bowlers as he acted as an aggressor and Kohli as the anchor. Patidar was an angel in disguise as he had kept RCB'S run rate elevated and both of them completed their half-centuries and had a partnership of 99 of 74 balls.

Kohli's 58 off 53 felt like the prodigal son returning but he was dismissed by a yorker bowled by sensational Shami. Both Maxwell and Lomror did not want RCB to lose their run rate and both of them played short yet surreal innings of 33 off 18 and 16 off 8 and helped RCB reach the score of 170.

GT had an eminent start by both the openers Saha and Gill as both of them had a prominent partnership despite having a mediocre run rate and played shots towards both long-off and long-on region but the 'aggressor' Saha was dismissed by a slower googly bowled by Hasranga. Shubman was saved by a DRS when he was given out for caught behind but the wicketkeeper Anuj Rawat did a blunder by stumping Gill by collecting the ball and in the line of the stumps which resulted in No ball and he did not leave the chance hit a humongous six in the deep square leg but was dismissed by Ahmed on an lbw and Shahbaz won the game of chess between Gill and him. Hardik could not give score big today as he was dismissed in the long-on region.

But, Miller and Tewatia who had saved GT on previous occasions came to their rescue again as they helped GT win the match by 6 wickets and had unleashed the Carnage of runs and boundaries on both leg and offside and the former made 39 off 24 and 43 off and 25 and the later bagged man of the match award too.

Key Takeaways:
Hasranga's undermined yet dangerous leg spin: Hasranga's leg-spin has been undermined throughout the season but is very precarious as he has been contributing to the RCB consistently and has a hazardous googly that many batsmen fail to read.
