PBKS's possibilities of qualifying for playoffs have been restrained as they lost by 17 runs. DC startled everyone by making Sarfaraz open the innings for them and PBKS did not shy away from it as they opened their bowling attack with Livingstone who did not disappoint Mayank as he took the wicket of menacing Warner who was caught by Chahar on the point region. But the dismissal of Warner did not impact DC'S batting as Sarfaraz and Marsh both had unleashed the carnage of their runs and Sarfaraz did not want to stop until he was caught by Chahar in the long-off region. If Sarfaraz would have remained at the crease till the end of DC's innings we could have seen his century and a 200+ total.

DC lost successive wickets in the 6th over which altered their run rate as they were playing cautiously. Marsh had acted as an aggressor and an anchor throughout the whole innings as he hit 63 off 49 and again proved his price tag and helped DC reach the 160 mark.

Livingstone proved a dark horse for the PBKS bowling lineup as he took three crucial wickets of Warner, Pant and Powell.


PBKS looked very threatening in the powerplay but soon collapsed after Bairstow's wicket just like RCB'S top-order collapses. Rajapaksa again could not capitalize on the opportunity given to him and we also saw Axar taking his 100th IPL wicket in this match. Axar and Kuldeep played a significant role in providing breakthroughs to DC in the middle overs by taking wickets of crucial players.

Jitesh's knock of 44 was the last hope for PBKS to win the match and he could have been the rescuer for PBKS but he too succumbed to the DC bowling lineup. With this defeat, PBKS's chances of qualifying for the playoffs are very problematic.

RCB VS LSG Eliminator: Report Card

  Faf's Army eliminated LSG from the playoffs as they defeated them by 14 runs. The promising and lethal Mohsin Khan earned the right to make LSG fans go ballistic as he dismissed Faf on duck but the wicket of Du Plessis was just the commencement of a fairy tale for a promising and youthful cricketer.  Credits: https://images.hindustantimes.com/img/2022/05/26/1600x900/patidar_1653539318394_1653539387127.PNG Patidar made a record in IPL by becoming the only uncapped player in the tournament to hit a century in playoffs. He had a formidable partnership with Virat Kohli which comprised hooks and drives towards the offside region. Patidar had unleashed his carnage of runs specifically on spinners Bishnoi and Krunal and had Bishnoi for 27 runs in an over and completed his century by hitting a six in the fine leg region.  Srh Can Finally Take a deep breath as they've found their core players and the right team combination to speed up their chariot of wins. Umran has certainly improved his line length along with his menacing raw pace. Pooran has been consistent with his runs. Tripathi's big-hitting along with his perfect timing is a knock on the selector's door for the T20 World Cup.
