The two Englishmen destroyed RCB'S bowling line-up as PBKS defeated RCB by 54 runs and has narrowed down the chances of RCB qualifying for the playoffs.

Bairstow had unleashed a bloodbath of runs as he hit 66 off 29 balls and had hit Hazelwood for two successive sixes towards the deep square leg which felt like a Deja vu and it did not stop there as he increased RCB'S misery by hitting Siraj for three successive sixes. The hard-hitting Rajapaksa could not put up a big score today and was dismissed by his Sri Lankan counterpart Hasaranga.

The carnage of runs just did not stop here as his English counterpart hit 70 off 42 and proved why he is also known as the six-hitting machine. It looked as if both English counterparts wanted to take revenge for the 'Ashes' disappointment they had the last summer in Australia. Mayank and Jitesh both looked promising but soon had a soft dismissal.

Harshal Patel had a marvellous spell and showed his bag of variations by dismissing Livingstone, Mayank, Brar and Rishi Dhawan.

Virat Kohli looked as if he was in form again as he hit played a cover drive and an on drive with the help of his wrists but was soon dismissed in the short fine leg. Patidar and Maxwell were the final hope for RCB'S win and had a formidable partnership which mainly consisted of switch hits ( it feels like Maxwell is addicted to playing this shot), Cuts and cover drives. Still, Patidar was caught on long-on and Patidar on the long-off and after that, the lower order of RCB crumbled down.

  Faf's Army eliminated LSG from the playoffs as they defeated them by 14 runs.  Srh Can Finally Take a deep breath as they've found their core players and the right team combination to speed up their chariot of wins. Umran has certainly improved his line length along with his menacing raw pace. Pooran has been consistent with his runs.
